Dawson Fiber Optic front sight for FNS-L 9mm
Works perfectly. Very little fitting required and using my sight pusher went in without a hitch. I usually buy Dawson sights for any handgun I want to improve my sight picture. Good quality
Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision® sights? You bet there is!
While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

I've used sights and other gear from Dawson for years, they have a way of producing and selling stuff that works.
In combination with their Sight Calculator, this solved the issue with the too tall front stock sight on an FNH FNs-9L.
The Fiber Optic Front included a couple of the optic inserts and a tool for installing the sight.
Well done!
Install was easy. Fit and are perfect. Will definitely see what will fir my other firearms.
Nicely made sight. It took very little fitting to install. Clean machining and finish. Provides a bright sight picture.
Thanks!
My FNS-9LS is an excellent polymer pistol, but I was less than pleased at its aiming characteristics. Only 147 gr. standard pressure loads were impacting on a 15 yard bullseye, and everything else was hitting the target far below. I was planning to use this for production class competition, and accuracy of this sort is unacceptable.
After using the Dawson Precision sighting chart, I ordered this sight (0.175 tall x 0.100 wide to correct a 0.1875 tall stock sight)) and carefully installed it. Now 115 and 124 standard pressure rounds are impacting the bullseye with 147 hitting just 2" high (easily corrected by using a 6 o'clock hold) - a much wider range of ammo produces tight results.
The bonus is that this sight is both brighter and smaller (width) than stock, so a small target at 25 yards is easily visible without having to "look around the sight post."
NOTE: My other pistol is a Dawson-worked STI Trojan 5.0 in 9mm, which is hands-down the most accurate handgun I've ever handled, and it sets the standard by which I judge all other pistols.
Really had to file this puppy down to get fit. It looks great
Though, matches the stock rear look pretty well!
Clear and fast sight picture!
