Front sight
Functioning as designed, great addition to my Sig 1911
Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision® sights? You bet there is!
While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

Functioning as designed, great addition to my Sig 1911
I should have gone with Dawson Precision. I spent so much money on other sight manufacturers but these sights provide a crisp picture your eye gets drawn to. If you have a 1911 with Novak Low Mount Dove tails, the 0.190" x 0.125" sights work very well with the Wilson Combat Rear Battlesight. There is a lot of attention to detail on these front sights. Look nowhere else.
Purchased this for a Springfield Armory Loaded 1911 to replace the stock night sights. Easy install, required no filing. Small amount of red locktite and tapped into place. Matched up with the Dawson Novak adjustable rear sight. Big improvement over original setup.
Excellent quality, but multiple height/width options available make the perfect sight picture possible. The .040" fiber optic rod is the best size for me as well. Dawson all the way!
Dawson has the best fiber and very well made sights.
Been using these sights for years. Great quality and only minor fitting required. Great products.
Much improvement over the night sites that came with the gun. Easier to locate the front site and the target when at the range.
My first order I never received though record shows shipping arrived in my apt bldg. I called and they sent me a replacement immediately. Sight was easy to install, nice fiber optic on my Springfield 1911 A1 gun. I may just order a night sight.
A must for competition pistol shooting, sight is visible in all types of weather conditions and is easily to track during rapid fire drills an target transitions
