replace front sight couple weeks ago really lit up the front sight so the novak rear sight had to be. my Rock Island fs 1911 Rock "Davidson exclusive patriot crekote finish with desert storm g-10 grips is awesome. had to talk to tech assistance on one of my other purchases really nice helpful real people. thank you dave and wonderful crew.
I have ordered several sets of sights from Dawson. These were the same as always. They may take a little fitting but if you can’t handle that you should not be installing sights. I would and have recommended Dawson to everyone.
I ordered both the front and rear Fiber Optic sights for a Rock Island Armory 1911. Watched the video's that Dawson has and went to work. Rear sight needed very little filing and the Front sight needed a touch more. Got them installed and couldn't be happier. Much better than the stock sights by far. Great Product and Great customer Service. I like the fact that they send extra fiber optic pipes and an aluminum installation punch with each sight.
I recently purchased a set of Dawson sights for my glock 34 and while they worked great they did take a little time with a file to make them fit just right. I was concerned that these sights for the odd sized dovetail in the Rock Island would be a real chore but they fit perfect right out of the box, or small zip lock bag as the case may be. After these last two purchases and the great results I have had Dawson Precision will be the only place I shop for new sights.
After some research found Dawson Precision , nothing but good reviews . They were right--Quality.......No filing. Much harder getting the stock sights out than the installation of these high quality sights. Just some taps with a brass drift pin. very pleased. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !
