Things to Remember!
Installed the .220" tall x 125" notch width rear sight on my recently purchased Springfield mil-spec defender. Paired with the stock front sight the gun hits "point-of-aim" and having the fiber optics in at least the rear definitely helps. I lined the middle of the set screw with the center line marked on the slide and the gun shoots perfectly.
Traded emails with the tech team and after sharing so photoscof my Springfield Armory 1911 Defender model (vintage 1992) they suggested this sight. Had it in just a couple of days. Install was perfect. Off to the range and it was dead on. Could not be happier with my experience and the product.
It would seem that no one makes a fiber optic rear sight for the Remington R1 1911 so the helpful guys at Dawson started comparing sight high'ts and dovetail measurements for me and came up with this one to couple with the R1 front fiber optic sight. After a good amount of fitting I installed it and test fired. To my amazement it was right on, no further adjustments needed. My customer was extremely happy!!!
