Things to Remember!
Shipping was fast, the fit is perfect, and the removal punchl also fits perfectly. FYI the factory XDM rear sight is hella hard to get off, but more importantly, the stock rear sight can only be removed from right to left (from the shooters perspective) and the same goes for installing the Dawson Precision sight -- right to left only.
Sights came within 7 days. Quick service. They will be installed in a couple of days. Shot a friends guns with same set up. Quality workmanship. Can't wait to get mine up and running.
This is my second sight and they work great I don't like the fixed sight that the guns come with since I reload now I can sight my gun in on the load I worked up and Dawson had to order me a front sight and was very friendly and helpful
Very well machined sight. Bought the adjustable target rear first per their recommendation. I'll use this with the factory front one first before calculating the height of the front one I need.
Sight fit and finish is great as always with Dawson. You will definitely need the .285" tall front sight to go with this if you are buying separately. I had to order one after the fact because mine was 10" high at 20 yds. Get the set and save some cash for ammo.
I have these on several of my pistols. They work great for competition. I know I will hit my target where I need too.
I have Dawson adjustable rear sights on several of my guns. These are good sights and work very well with Dawson fiber optic front sights. I put this on a XDm 3.8 and with the recommended 0.285" front sight the rear is adjusted all the way to the bottom. I would recommend a little taller front sight as I prefer not to have the rear sight set at either limit.
