Installed on both my Walther PPQ -9mm and 45 ACP
At Dawson Precision® we know the many factors involved in perfect bullet impact, that's why we make so many different heights and widths sights for your pistol. It's a big undertaking to manufacture and stock so many different front sights but the owner of Dawson Precision® is a shooter and believes a pistol that is not zeroed properly is useless. You spend a lot of money on your shooting gear and ammo to improve your shooting skills, so it makes sense to have your sights set to impact perfectly.

I was able to install the .180x.145 front sight on my PPQ in less than 5 minutes. Used 271 Loctite instead of the 262 called for in the instructions, other than that, no problems.
The new site is fantastic. During daylight it functions like a white dot, but in low light or no light it illuminates.
Very bright, great fit, you can never go wrong with dawson precision product
In my opinion theis is the ONLY viable sight option if you would like to use your PPQ as your primary home defense handgun. My POA/POI has remained the same. The tritium insert has a fantastic glow and is very visible in low light and pitch black situations. The white outline around the tritium gives this sight a "big dot" feel for fast acquisition, while still allowing for accurate shots. The white outline around my tritium insert does have some imperfections in the color, that is my only complaint. Thank you Dawson Precision for greatly improving the practicality and overall functionality of the Walther PPQ.
Easy install! was not looking for a tritium sight, but just a true round white outline compared to the oblongish cheap plastic front sight from the factory. Maintains the same point of impact, but is definitely more crisp than the factory sight. Money well spent.
I been searching high and low for the perfect PPQ sights. I've read forums, compared notes, done calculations and finally have found the perfect sight. Dawson does it again! The original factory sights were/are poor plastic and a bad choice for such a nice weapon. Everyone agrees that they should be swapped out for after market versions. But which one? I originally tried tough and bright trijicons but it changed my poa/poi 2 inches low at 20 yards. I looked at meps, but reviews complained about shooting high. I calculated that the tough and bright front needed to be lowered (for me). A competition shooter at the range recommended Dawson. I had never heard of them. I did some research and found great reviews and success with them. I ordered the dawson (.180) and it was at my door in two days. Side by side, it looks better, feels better, is more solid, and just reflects an overall better quality than the original trijicons. Yeah, seriously that good. They even send you the install tool. I know now where I will look for any future sights. Please make more PPQ products! I have NO affiliation, not even a big "reviewer", but I felt compelled to hopeful help someone else end their ultimate PPQ hunt.
The sights your PPQ deserve.
I really do like the easy sight change when you use the adjustable sights on the PPQ, but I wanted fixed sights instead.
The sights are not plug and play (a little filing is needed) every fixed sight should be fitted to the gun. However. A novice could install these sights all the tools are included. (Except if you have the 5" 9mm model you need a 2mm hex). You will also need a fine file as the sight is barely over sized. all in all it took 15 minutes or less. Look for Dawson's tutorial on youtube.
Now the PPQ has the sights it really deserves.
Dawson Precision--hands down--makes the finest after market night sights at the lowest quality cost and the ones I've seen even come with the tools required to mount them (a $20+ savings right there). They were easy to install with the supplied tools and a mallet I had on hand. No modifications necessary. Simply pick the rear sight needed then the matching compatible front sight for great point of aim.
I installed this on my Walther ppq m2 45 acp. Went out to the range and it shot perfect. The sights shoot point of aim. The inserts glow bright in the dark as well. I will be adding more Dawson sights to my other handguns as well.
