The front sight on my m&P core 9mm actually broke in two, leaving just the dovetail in place. Ordered the Dawson and installed myself. The factory dovetail was really tight and I ended up having to use a steel punch to remove. The Dawson installed easily with some very slight file work. The pistol was perfect at 25 yards. Dead center, 3 inch groups. Highly recommend these sights.

I purchased these as a replacement for the standard S&W sights on a C.O.R.E. that I use with an RMR. I noticed the standard S&W front sight washed out under certain lighting conditions. The fiber front on the Dawson does not. Great product--my 2nd set.

I installed these sights on my Smith and Wesson Performance Center Ported M&P Core with the 5 inch Barrel. Although this weapon comes from the performance center, it came with white three dot sights which are hard for my 60 year old eyes to pick up when shooting IDPA. I don't mind spending a little $ on quality accessories which is why I installed an Apex Flat Faced Forward set sear and trigger and a match grade Apex Barrel. (Non ported for IDPA). So when I was deciding which manufacturer to purchase the sights from the choice was fairly obvious. Dawson products have great reputations and Dave has instructional videos on YouTube that are a huge help if you are installing them yourself. This is my third set of Dawson Precision Sights, one on my son's M&P and another on a Remington R1 Enhanced 1911. All have held up under hundreds of rounds shot with no issues. As long as Dawson keeps making excellent quality products I will continue purchasing them.
Also since the origional sights were designed to co witness with an optic they are pretty tall and I was a bit unsure if the new ones would fit perfectly and be tall enough. Well one call to Dawson and a very friendly and knowledgable customer service rep assured me I was picking the right sights for my particular gun and of course he was correct. Perfect fit and they look awesome.
