Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision sights? You bet there is! While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, DP sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

I followed the instructions, and the process was smooth. It's a nice addition, with easier sight acquisition. Worth the money in my book.
The .125 tall sight is the direct front sight replacement for the factory installed front sight when maintaining the OEM rear sight. Definite improvement over the plastic sight the pistol ships with. This would get 5 stars if it were easier to install. It is advertised as easy to install but I would say it is moderately difficult to install. This sight has 2 steel tubes which extend down from the base of the sight into the sight holes on the slide. The installer must then use the provided punch, a hammer and a vise to flange the steel tubes. Installs much like a rivet.
