Every pistol I own has night sights but this was my first purchase from Dawson. I wanted adjustable night sights for my new Canik TP9 SFx. From info I found online, it takes a Glock rear and S&W front sight. Dawson had the best options for that and several friends and employees of local gun shops recommended Dawson. They were easy to install, in part thanks to the included directions, aluminum punches and Loctite. They look great and work perfectly. I will turn to Dawson for all my future purchases.

Installation of .160 front sight was easy. Moved my poi up where I wanted it.

The older I get, the harder it is to see the front sight on my M&P Core.
The Tritium site does help, I can see the white dot in the daylight, and the glow at night.
The fit was tight and should not move, like some others sites I tried.

  5. Works great on the ported model

Aluminum punch worked great on this one, I used a 1" Delrin for the rear. Minor filing was necessary but it's a nice fit.

Bought this for a ported M&P 9L, had to have a gunsmith get the front off. The newer smith's have u shaped groves in them that help keep any sight in nice and tight.

This truly solved my main issue, the ported model after 50 rounds or so would cover the factory white dot sight. This sits back far enough that I burned through 350 rounds and could still see the white outline. A little rem-oil and canned air and it looks good as new. Time will tell how long the white outline will last against cleaning but I am very satisfied.
