Things to Remember!
Replaced Wilson Combat front fiber optic on my P229 with Dawson fiber optic. Extremely happy , brought my grouping to center. The multitude of height options with the calculation spreadsheet is fantastic. Will keep using Dawson over all others!
However the standard Sig #8 sight is .14 wide, and the closest sight (the one I purchased) is .125, which leaves a bit more room than I would like.
The sight went on with minor fitting.
Outstanding workmanship as they are spot on, easy to care for, and are more durable than I thought they would be. Can not recommend these highly enough.

This is the fourth sight I've ordered, and I plan on at least one more, front sights are blurry but I can see the red sight clearly...
Sight is as advertised and makes shooting the gun accurately, much better. Did require a light amount of sanding upon installation as it is slightly oversized but there are instructions in the package with the product on how to do what needs to be done. Overall very nice sight even though the aluminum install took leaves a little to be desired but overall is works also.
For me much better than HIVIZ. Very nice quality and easy to to fit. A+
I have this style front sight on several pistols, I had my first one installed by a gunsmith, I have installed the last few myself with just a small amount of fitting required.
The Fiber Optic is easy for my older eyes to pick up, and the smaller (compared to other brands) Dot allows for better target shooting. very pleased. I also called customer service with a question, and the person on the other end was very knowledgeable and walked me through what I needed.
