I had my firearm stolen a year ago and luckily for me it was recovered. Unfortunately the plastic factory rear sight had been broken off. I had a really hard time finding a replacement however this group of people were very helpful. I was able to order this sight and with some minor fitting it works like a champ and the best part no more plastic sight. Thanks again!
Bought this rear sight .210 tall and .145 notch for my Walther PPQ M2 and it fit perfectly with minimal filing. The front sights on the PPQ M2 are .140 wide and the Dawson front sight was a perfect match while the sight picture has plenty of daylight on both sides of the front post. Dawson's description of the rear sight does not specify which PPQ but Walther assured me their dovetail for any PPQ are all the same size and have never changed. It was a perfect fit and install took a few minutes.
The sight was as described, was shipped quickly and with installation tool. Very pleased.
I ordered this sight in the .115" notch width to help tighten up the target picture over the stock PPQ sight. With the stock front sight post it gives a much improved (for target shooting) image and has really helped me shoot more precisely especially at 20+ yards. The original rear sight had a massive notch cut in it that worked great out to about 10 yards and gave a much faster acquisition time, however I don't need this for my application. I left the original front sight on the pistol and it seems to match the .115" cut very nicely. Did not have any vertical point of impact issues or changes and only had to drift the sight once after initial install to fix horizontal error. (as to be expected with a new drift sight) This sight allows me to now fully utilize the amazing trigger of the PPQ and create 2-4 inch groups at 25 yards easily off hand. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a good target sight picture with minimal gap (think S&W long barrel revolver) it really lets the PPQ shine!
