I wasn't quite sure whether or not I'd like a flat trigger, but after having it installed, I am very pleased with it.

Bear in mind that this trigger does need to be properly fitted by a gunsmith in order to customize the length, how it fits into the grip/frame, and adjust it for travel.

  2. Fit to yourself trigger

Nick Taylor's video was very helpful in taking the STI 2011 apart to install the gunsmith blank trigger:

I like the flat trigger and tim will tell how long I want it to be.
To each his or her own. This one give you that choice.

  3. Just as you would expect... needed fitting etc

The STI 2011 trigger is just as you would expect it, nothing remarkable either way about it. The trigger itself needed to be reshaped and massaged to run smoothly in a factory STI frame. The top of the trigger blank, sides, and bottom needed to be sanded with 800 grit sand paper to flatten out the mold lines and allow the trigger to fit in the frame. This trigger with PROPER sanding fits much better than the factory trigger in this particular Marauder. The mold could have been done much better but we are talking about a company that you have to tune a 70 dollar magazine to run in their guns... Overall the part was as you would expect from an off the shelf STI part, nothing more, nothing less. I bought this part on sale, however the next build will use a SV trigger.
