Things to Remember!
I had made an earlier review with only 3 stars. Wanted to give a 5 star review instead. Previously, the fibre optic was installed by a gun smith. I think he burnt the fibre too much, it became too small and not very visible. I experimented myself a bit with it, and let the fibre stick out a bit more. It's now very visible and quick to pick up.
This set has a black rear and fiber optic front. I hired a gunsmith to install them for me. He discovered that the front sight had a hairline fracture before the installation. He called Dawson Precision and notified them of the defect. Dawson Precision sent him another identical front sight at no charge to make it right. He installed the replacement front sight with the rear sight and they fit perfectly. Don't you just love companies that actually stand 100% behind what they sell? I do.
Dawson sights are top quality. I installed these myself on a first generation CZ75 PO7 duty (they fit great). Just shot them at an IDPA match for the first time. They did great, especially on the long shots which were previously a challenge for me. The smaller fibre optic took a little adjustment to get used to but my accuracy was still right on point. POA = POI. These are my second set of Dawson sights and I will be putting them on all my future guns. You will be so glad you got them!
And just to confirm, these sights fit the PO7 just fine, even though they are labeled for the PO9. The sight dovetails are the same.
POA is dead nuts on.
I use FO front, black rear. I have them on all my handguns.

I had a gunsmith install the new sights. Placed them on centerline and the gun shoots right on the dot. Hight is right on.
I put these sights on to improve my sight picture when shooting steel plates. They did just that! I'm very impressed with the new sight picture. It is now at the center of the target. When the factory sights were on the pistol my sight picture was at the six o'clock position. These were my second set from Dawson and not my last.

Just what I've come to expect from Dawson. "Good Stuff".
The first time I shot my new CZ P-09 was at an indoor range with very low light. Being of a certain age, I was having a great deal of difficulty focusing enough to get a clear sight picture. I went home that evening and ordered a set of Dawson FO front black rear competition sights as I had done many times before for most of my other pistols. Of course, I was a very happy camper once I got them installed! All my range pistols wear these. Buy them. You won't be disappointed.
