My new 1911 was shooting low at 25 yards, using sight math section, I ordered, received, and installed my front sight using Dave's video as a guide. Great job, guys. Having seen other shooters loose a the fiber optic during IDPA matches, I ordered additional optic tubes in both colors only to find extra are included with the sight. It is refreshing to find outstanding customer service is still alive and well.
Almost a perfect fit and replacement. The aluminum tap tool was too soft. I had to switch to brass punch rods because the fit was so tight. Perfect measurements and very bright. I would buy again.
I gave this a 4 for Ease of installment. I'll write later after I put a few thousand rounds down range to see if they hold up.
I was shooting high with my 1911, I used the sight calculator and ordered the front sight it suggested. Put it on and it's shooting perfect. Highest quality sight available in my opinion. Thank you Dawson Precision !
This sight was easy to install and looked great. The fiber insert is also easy to change.
