Description

Fiber Optic Sight
Not a perfect fit leaving a fraction of an inch of space in the slot on both sides of the base but not enough to worry with... I LOVE IT... Glad I went with it!

Replacement EMP4 Front Sight
Had originally ordered an "EMP" replacement front sight for the EMP4. Had to return due to the EMP4 having the Springfield (.340) front dovetail. This Item was a much better fit; but will need some Loctite 620 once POA/POI is verified with this sight's height. Excellent product and Service!

Dawson precision springfield 1911 fiber optic sight
Well made and designed so that it seems to gather a bit more light than other fiber optic sights. Mounting was quite straightforward. I must throw in a compliment for Mr. Dawson, he was very helpful when I called, and gave me good advise that allowed me to make the right purchases the first time. And he wasn't put off by the fact that I called twice . Very pleased

Springfield Range Officer Fiber Optic Sight
With the pin punched out, the factory sight was removed without much difficulty. The new sight required quite a little stoning to get started into the dovetail. It was a fine stone though. Once pressed into place, using the pin hole to visually align the fiber optic to the center of the slide, it was time to head to the range. To my amazement, with the Patridge 180T/.100W sight, I needed no adjustment to put 4/5 of my first five shots in the ten ring at 50'. It's nice to see the front sight against the black target again.

I really did not know this sight would make such a big difference. The original was tough to see, but this one is fantastic. It fits my Springfield Trophy Match 1911 perfectly after a short session fitting the dovetail. I am very impressed with the brightness of the fiber optics. I was happy to see the additional green and red fiber optic inserts and the sight removal tool. Thank you Dawson Precision.
