While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

    Great sight,easy install,I was shooting about 2 to 2 and a half inches low with my other sight, followed the sight calculator on the web site and ordered what it said i needed and it put me right where I needed to be, can't wait to shoot a match with my gun now.Thanks Larry

    RIA FRONT FIBER OPTIC SIGHT

    Have installed thousands of front sights on pistols. So many of them require fitting that i just plan for it. These sights have gon on perfectly with no fitting even after a cerakote finish is applied. Also, the fiber optic tube is truly very bright compared to others its dia.

    I have gotten a sight for my G43 from Dawson Precision and loved it. So getting one for my Rock Island Armory 1911 45ACP was a No Brainer! I absolutely LOVE this company and love the sights!

    I Installed the fiber optic sight on a Rock Island FS to use in USPSA competition. I ordered the height based of the stock measurement (.175"). Came with great instructions and installation tool that worked perfect. There is a YouTube video to show installation in great detail. Better visibility, but point of impact was low. I then realized Dawson had a sight calculator and using that I ordered another one to tighten up the group (.150"). Now point of aim is perfect point of impact at 25 yards. Couldn't ask for a better result.
