Description

Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision® sights? You bet there is!

While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

    easy on old eyes

Posted by rick on Feb 7th 2018

any pistol that i own that can be fitted with dawson fiber optic front sights has them on. 10 total, cz, m&p, Springfield, and several other notable brands. picking up the front sights quickly for a 61 year old is sometimes hard to do with stock sights, not the dawson fo sights. a little math, some simple tools, and the patience to decide the correct sight height for your hold and you are good to go with these sights. installed these particular ones on a trp and was able to use the stock sight height of .180. Dead on!

    Great Front Sight

Watched the video for installing front dovetail sights. With minor fitting the sight went in and was able to center with ease. Second sight purchased from Dawson. Top quality products.

    Outstanding Sight

Posted by Juan De Leon Jr on Sep 30th 2017

Purchased a .180x.115 for my Springfield Ranger Officer, an it is awesome. The fiber optic illuminates bright, and makes target acquisition fast. Fitting the sight was minor and used loctite - do watch Dawson's video on installation ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do8sHBDfIGk&t=331s ).

    Great sight

I got the .100 wide for shooting steel matches. Really picks up the light, easy to see, fast to get on target. It came with replacement red and green fibers which is a bonus. Much better fiber optic sight than other brands I have.

Quick and Easy installation, Dead On

Posted by Charley on Jul 25th 2017

After purchasing the .180x.100 fiber optic sight and before installation, I watched the "Installing Dovetail Front Sights with Dave Dawson" video on you tube. First without watching the video, I know I would have made a few mistakes. Second after watching the video, making some measurements and small tweaking with a file/sandpaper, the sight fit as described. Centering the sight with micrometers and then using a bore sight it was dead on, I know have shots groups within 1 inch at 25 yards. Thank you Dave for a great product and video.
