Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision® sights? You bet there is!

While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

    I bought this front sight (.180" tall x .100" wide) to use with the OEM blacked out rear sight that came with my Dan Wesson PM7 .45acp. Perfect match and sight picture. Highly recommended!

    Only reason I give it 4 stars, because it's base is not tapered enough for rounded slides. It would be nice to have that option when ordering.

    Product was nicely made, sturdy and of good quality. Just had to re-order it again because I messed up in installing it. I took off more material in the bottom area, which made it not go all the way in cuz it was hitting the top of the slide. I should've watch the video first. My bad.

    Dawson sight is everything you might expect, well packaged, precise instruction and ease of installation. Dave Dawson instructional youtube a must see for removal of old site, proper tools and precision fitting.

    I have Dawson fiber optic front sights on every one of my pistols. I think they are the best ones available. Very easy to install too!
