Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision® sights? You bet there is!

While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

    Awesome Sight!

    I'm 57 years old and my eye sight has faded to the point that I need a good contrast in my sights to get a clear sight picture. My Springfield Loaded 9mm is my primary IDPA and 3 gun pistol, but the solid color front sight was too wide, and disappeared when I was aiming. I had already purchased one of these for a Springfield TRP, so it was an easy choice for the Loaded. The sight arrived in three days. I quickly checked the dimensions with a caliper, and found it would fit fine. A few strokes with a small triangle file, a few test fits, and a little tapping with the supplied aluminum punch, and the sight was perfectly centered and snugly fitted. I will purchase more from Dawson Precision!

    Crisp clean front sight

    These Dawson front sights are fantastic to say the least, however I installed one of these on my springfield armory range officer 9mm and it required a terrible amount of fitting. I can't say I really blame Dawson though, I think the firearms have variance and it's a lot better filing to fit than to start too loose.

    Improved accuracy

    This really helped me to find the front sight quicker. Nice small fiber makes the sight better for distances than other sights I have used. These are ideal for IDPA, IPSC, USPSA and maybe Action Pistol. I highly recommend Dawson Precision sights.

    WOW! the front site is bright

    I installed this site on my SA Range Officer Champ, very impressed. The front site now stands out and an OLD MAN can really see it instantly, I shoot IDPA and quick shooting is a must. I also have a SA EMP-4 - HERE is the REAL reason this site is HUGE. For a friend I demo the difference between the Range Officer and the EMP4. The friend (expert shooter) stated.. The EMP4 feels better but the front site on the Range Officer is why I would purchase this pistol.. He did not know I installed the Dawson site on this pistol. I NOW HAVE THE DAWSON SITE ON BOTH PISTOLS.

    My old eyes need a little help picking up the front sight post quickly - This Dawson Precision fiber optic really did the job for me. I watched the u-tube installation video and took my time with the installation on my Springfield 9mm RO. I am very happy with the results and must say Dawson Precision is supper fast with their shipping. Great product & Super service!

    I am using DP exclusively because they have best product and best service. This is second time I got sights ftom DP and second time I enjoy product-easy to install, superb visibility.

    Use Care On Installation, but an OUTSTANDING addition

    This sight is an excellent front sight for us "older" shooters who have problems getting and staying on the "front sight." This is Dawson Precision quality through and through, however, during installation, you need to slow down a bit and be sure the dovetail is seated/started correctly in the dovetail receiver on the slide. I used a MGW Sight Pro sight tool for installation and checked and re-checked as I slid the sight into the slide. Once you have it started correctly, the rest is a piece of cake. With the black rear sight on my Springfield 1911, the fiber optic front sight jumps out at you and has greatly improved my target acquisition.
