These extended basepads are CNC machined from billet aluminum and uniquely designed to ease the installation and removal of the basepad to the mag body. In addition, they DO NOT ADD CAPACITY and each weigh 1oz. And, of course, the taller basepads also help facilitate reloads when using a magwell.

    Fit and finish are great, they install easily and give about 1/8" of protrusion to help seat the mags. The scallops are covered completely by the Staccato magwell, so they don't offer any practical advantage over stock plates in terms of extracting a stuck mag to clear a malfunction. If they were a tad bit longer or the scallops were designed differently they'd be 5 stars.
