The Z9 magazine is a 9-round steel magazine for the Glock® 43. It is the same length as the OEM Glock® magazine with pinky extension, but holds an additional 3 rounds. Glock® pistols and magazines are known for reliability – the Z9 maintains that same Glock® reliability, while giving you a 50% increase in capacity in the same footprint.
This increased capacity is made possible by their patent-pending magazine geometry, which allows the rounds to stagger and fit more efficiently into the same space. Proudly made in the USA!
Mag Catch Recommendation
For best performance, Shield Arms recommends swapping out your plastic OEM mag catch with either their Standard Steel Mag Catch or their Premium Steel Mag Catch. Using the OEM plastic mag catch or another manufacturer’s catch may cause reliability issues. Z9 magazines are engineered to work specifically with Shield Arms steel mag catches.
