For years Bo-Mar rear sights set the standard of which all other rear sights were judged, so why not make a fixed rear that uses that knowledge. Dave Dawson set out to improve on that and make the best fixed rear sight on the planet for competition and target shooting. The blade is back angled 3 degrees to reduce glare. The notch is the deepest available, providing more visual reference for faster precise windage alignment. This also gives the shooter the advantage of tracking the front sight better during recoil and placement on target, for those tight hardcover shots. The serrations on the black sights are designed to draw your eyes to the Hi-Def sight notch, providing a clear, crisp sight picture, yet snag free on outer profile. Chamfered to break all sharp edges and not rub you the wrong way.

Used these in there first match last weekend and went from averaging 13-14 mikes at local USPSA matches in Limited division. Had 3 mikes and 0 no shoots this past week and could see the A zone clear as day. Make sure you have the right height front sights and you should be point of aim impact
Able to acquire my front sight so much easier/faster with these rear sights. Be sure to check pre-fit and lightly file the inside dove tail. Take little bits off at a time and it'll slide in there nice and tight with a few firm taps with the punch. Didn't leave a single mark on it. Looks great! Make the whole gun better.
This sight offers what I need at a reasonable price. The 0.135" notch coupled with a 0.110" or 0.100" front sight make for rapid sight acquisition while being narrow enough for precision hits at distance. I bought this for a Canik P120 knowing I needed to remove approximately 0.200" from the top of the slide where the sight overhangs. for clearance. Dawson will be my go to for future competition sights.

I bought the .270" tall x .135 " notch width and put it on my 97B with the factory fiber optic front sight. It shoots to the same point of impact as the factory rear sight. Installation was a breeze, as usual with Dawson Precision products.
